Been stalking sites for days now and finally gathered some of my favourite fics of these two so I thought I would share. So without further adieu:

Of Mead, Rights, and Sleep- Bilbo is propositioned by another dwarf. Thorin does not approve.

Babysitting Bagginshield Babies- Thorin and Bilbo go out a couple months after the birth of the twins. They leave their babies in the hands of 9 of their dwarf friends, who end up messing things up yet at the same time end up not messing it up.

Eyes Meet- Their eyes meet and Bilbo’s breath is caught in his throat. Time stood still. The world stopped spinning. There was nothing around them. It was just the two of them.

Home- It was the moment Bilbo shared what home meant to him that Thorin understood the phrase ‘home is where your heart is.’ It was after Bilbo saved his life that he realized his heart was with Bilbo.

Home is Where- Quick moments between Bilbo and Thorin regarding home…that is, their shared home after all the business with Smaug.

I See You- Hobbits are naturally easy creatures to overlook, this is both a gift and a curse. However there is one Hobbit that can never go unseen by a certain dwarf.

Queen of the Dwarves- “I think congratulations are in order!”

An Unexpected Addition- All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies, but Bilbo must return to the Shire to sort out his old life and make way for a new one in Erebor. Over one year later, Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo. King Thorin isn’t quite sure what to make of this new, tiny addition to his Company. Slow build.

Rightful Place- Bilbo arrives at the Grey Havens. One-shot. (Get your tissues ready for this one!)

All That Shine as Moonstone- Before dying in the Battle of Five Armies, Thorin asks Bilbo if he’ll do him the honor of combining their houses, royal and homely as they respectively are, through marriage. They are married on his deathbed and Bilbo leaves the tent a new husband and widower alike. (Not joking this just made me want to die. So beautiful and sad and just asdfghjk. Broke my heart..)
